Flexible Rubber Edge Trim

U-shaped flexible plastic/rubber automotive edge trim  is an excellent way to finish and protect exposed metal edges. The retainer is easily pressed over any metal edge and is held in place by the seal’s excellent gripping force. Flexibility of this seal depends on the retainer configuration: wire core or segmented steel core. Resilient edge trim can be used in a multitude of interior and exterior applications and is often used as decorative trim.

This flexible rubber strip is an ideal material for sealing and edging applications. It is easily cut with a knife and will stick to most surfaces using contact adhesive A139 or A262. Sizes stated are width by thickness. Roll size = 5 metres (which may be made up of more than one length).

This white flexible food quality rubber strip is ideal for sealing and edging applications, especially where temperatures go to 200°C. It is easily cut with a knife and can be bonded in place with either S137 or S138.

This semi soft rubber (45°sh) is flexible and semi compressible. It is used for sealing Brass port lights and vents. For plastic and Aluminium port lights it is recommended to use an expanded neoprene seal. Size stated are width by thickness.

Neoprene Rubber strips, also known as weather stripping, rubber stripping, strip rubber or rubber sealing strips, is commonly used in outdoor applications to block weather and moisture conditions.  Well suited for indoor use, the rubber strips are resistant to most chemicals and detergents.  The rubber strips do not absorb water or oil and stay flexible and resilient over many cycles of compression and use.  Some rubber strips have an adhesive backing to peel and stick onto the metal, plastic or wood surface requiring rubber stripping for your application.  Rubber Stripping cuts easily with scissors and is flexible enough to bend into tight corners and complex angles for sealing or blocking out elements in tight spaces.  Strip rubber is also very tolerable of weather and temperature extremes.
